Our father was in the Army & was called back to active duty during the Berlin Crisis. He was retired from Mississippi State University and worked part time when he was diagnosed on April 16, 2010. He lost his battle on September 9, 2010. He did not even make it 5 months after his diagnosis. He fought hard and complained little. ALS is a cruel disease that robbed our father of his independence and eventually his life. Please help us find a cure for ALS so other individuals and families don’t have to go through this heartbreak.
