I join right after high school , Barharain was my duty station on the USS La Salle AGF-3 what a great experience . I traveled to many countries Sailed across the equator . I was a ship store room keeper. Now 60 years old I've been diagnosed December 29, 2014 with ALS. I have been a hairstylist since 1978 I also had been a very good golfer it to the VA one year five months to diagnose me. It has changed my life drastically I am walking with the Walker gradually my hands and my shoulders I getting weaker . I have a host of friends to help me get around. Sometimes I see myself running again
