2008 National Advocacy Day
and Public Policy Conference

Hundreds of people with ALS, their families and caregivers joined together in Washington, DC for the 2008 National ALS Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference was held on May 11 - 13 and 5th Annual Candlelight Vigil. Although a torrential rain storm forced the vigil to move indoors, the rain did not deter advocates from sharing their experiences with ALS and reminding us all why we come together in Washington each year: to find a treatment and cure for ALS.
