My loving father served as a Sergeant in the United States Army for four years 1968-1972. He was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky and chose to raise his family there. In 1998 Pete was sadly diagnosed with ALS and proudly fought the disease under the care of Dr. Edward J. Kasarskis, MD in Lexington, KY who did everything he could to make this terrible disease bearable. His strength taught me to be strong through many hurdles in my own life. He is missed by everyone especially my sister Tabitha Preece Bellamy and myself. We keep his memories alive with his four grandchildren today!
