My dad served two tours in Vietnam in the U.S. Navy. In February of 2014 my dad started losing use of his right arm. His doctor said it was a pinched nerve in his neck and did surgery. Shortly after that, my dad started to lose use of his left arm and his legs were weakening so the doctor wasn't sure what was going on. My dad spent New Years this year in the hospital and, after four days of running tests, we got the tragic news that my dad had ALS. They told us he had 2 to 3 years to live and three months later my dad passed away. We will love and miss him always as we was our true hero!
