Glen lost his fight with ALS January 24, 2008. We all miss him greatly. He, like many others, came face to face with the reality of death sitting in a chair at the doctor's office. A strong man who never took sick days was suddenly unable to do the simplest of tasks. Feeding tubes, oxygen and a DNR sign are memories we don't care to remember but do because it reminds us that we MUST find a cure. DNR stands for Do Not Resuscitate. He didn't want someone to make that horrible decision when it was his time to go. But we'll see him again. He was proud to serve his country and loved his family.
