Nothing like being a Traffic policeman on a large air base at 19. In 2012 I was diagnosed with ALS. I first lost most of my voice then balance and a weakness along one side which is slowly spreading to the other. A key to all my Pre- & post retirement activities had been public speaking so that really shut me down. I now find a new acceptance of life and what has come my way. Just about every need that develops is filled by the right people or agency at the right time. My ALS is moving slowly so as it continues I shall " Enjoy the Journey".
