Harry J. Buccilli

Branch: Marines
Served: 1960 - 1973
Hometown: Dexter , MI
Written by: Terika Kons , Daughter
My Dad "Capt. Harry" was getting ready to retire in Homer, Alaska "The Halibut Capital of The World" when he suddenly got diagnosed with an advanced stage of ALS 3 days before Christmas. Our dad has always helped others, whether as a serviceman in the Army and Marines, as a police officer (back in the day), as a driving instructor for his own company or just as a friend helping out someone down on their luck. He never used any VA benefits because he didn't believe in taking a handout and thought it should be used on someone that really needed it. Keep fighting Dad, you are very loved!
