Daniel Sage

Branch: Air Force
Served: 1962 - 1966
Hometown: Henderson, NV
Written by: Bill Sage , Brother
I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB and Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. I worked for 36 years in the steel industry and then for 6 years with the TSA. In 2005 I slowly began losing weight and the use of my arms and hands. In November, 2009 I was diagnosed and no longer able to work. I have had a significant loss of strength in my arms and hands and this has also progressed to my legs. This picture was taken in 2009 with two of my grandchildren in front of the Veterans Board at the South Bend Airport. Just over my left shoulder are picture of me and two of my brothers who are also veterans.
