Matt June

Branch: Army
Served: 1990 - 1994
Hometown: Steubenville, OH
I joined the Army in 1990 because I was indecisive about college and wanted to get a "headstart" in life. I enjoyed my time as a Military Policeman in Panama. I agreed to die for my country if need be, but not like this. I began having symptoms in February of 2009. Now I live one day at a time and enjoy each one. I have wonderful friends and family supporting me in this fight. My strongest supporter is my amazing fiance, Jackie. We met after my diagnosis and we cherish every moment we have together. I have faith an effective treatment is close.
