Cynthia M. Greulich

Branch: Navy
Served: 1983 - 1984
Hometown: Garfield, NJ
I was a deckhand on the Ford Island ferryboat in Oahu, Hawaii in the Navy. My first symptoms of ALS started in Sept. 2004. I was having trouble lifting my right arm. Three months later it went into my left arm. I was diagnosed with ALS in January 2005. Since then now I can't lift either arm and my legs are very weak. I need a powerchair to get around. I am 100 percent dependent now.
