The ALS Consortium of Epidemiologic Studies (ACES) web site implemented by Stanford University epidemiologist Lorene Nelson, Ph.D. is meant to facilitate collaboration. The site includes standardized questionnaires and methods of data collection to investigate what environmental and lifestyle risk factors might contribute to ALS.
