A Prospective Study of Rapid CT Cerebral Blood Flow Imaging in the Detection of Cognitive Impairment in Sporadic ALS

Hypothesis:
The process of cognitive impairment in ALS can be described by simple clinical and radiological methodologies.

Aims:
To conduct a longitudinal study of newly diagnosed patients, assessing cognition, speech and language measures, indices of clinical progression and measures of cerebral perfusion obtained from contrast enhanced CT scans.
