Calling ALL Veterans
We need to hear from you! The ALS Association is issuing a Call to Arms to all military veterans who have been impacted by ALS. Go to our website here, and join our Roll Call of Veterans.
e want to identify every veteran with ALS in the United States and give them the tools they need to fight back in the war against ALS. This disease has taken too many of our heroes and it continues to strike veterans at approximately twice the rate as the general public.
While we have made important progress in expanding benefits for veterans and advancing the search for a treatment, more must be done! We need to learn why our heroes are at greater risk and take action to protect them. We need to ensure that veterans receive the care and benefits they deserve and have earned. And we need to find a treatment. So stand up and be counted!
