BAYADA Honors ALS Caregivers during National Home Care Aide Week

November 9, 2015

BAYADA Home Health Care is proud to sponsor National Home Care Aide Week 2015. In addition to supporting The ALS Association, the company has the opportunity to honor caregivers throughout the country who embody compassion, strive for clinical excellence and provide reliable service for people with ALS.

Focusing on developing programs to enhance the quality of life for people living with this disease and to support their loved ones, BAYADA is committed to providing people with the highest quality home health care services. Through this partnership, The ALS Association provides guidance and feedback on BAYADA’s clinical programs.

BAYADA is rolling out an ALS training program for home health aides throughout 2015 and is currently in the process of developing a nurses training program, as well. As BAYADA continues to advance ALS-specific care programs, those with ALS and their families can expect specialized ALS-specific case management and care services to meet the unique challenges that they face every day living with this disease. As care needs evolve over time, BAYADA works closely with those living with ALS, their families and physicians to identify new or additional services to maintain the highest level of comfort, independence and dignity.

Founded by Mark Baiada in 1975, BAYADA is a trusted leader in providing clinical care and support services at home for children and adults of all ages. It is with a great sense of responsibility and compassion that BAYADA is playing a larger role in helping those with ALS live at home with comfort, independence and dignity until there is a cure.
