About the Conference

The ALS Association Clinical Conference will engage ALS/MND healthcare professionals and offer current information on best practices and guidelines, multidisciplinary team care and coordination, ALS-relevant programs and services, research updates, technology for therapies, respiratory devices and augmentative communication, and will provide professional networking opportunities. The conference will:

  • Provide a venue to discuss new trends, share current practices, exchange ideas and successes and dialogue on challenges and potential solutions
  • Cultivate a network of health professionals who support the advancement of knowledge and options for disease management in the field of ALS
  • Provide educational opportunities and hands-on workshops for attendees on a variety of subjects directly related to healthcare professionals

This activity has been approved by the AAC Institute for 12.0 contact hours or 1.2 IACET continuing education credits for the following disciplines: SLPs, ATPs, PTs, OTs and RDs. The AAC Institute is accredited as an Accredited Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.

This activity has been approved for 12.0 contact hours Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care Course # 147338000.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved for 12.0 nursing contact hours by the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886471672-2451) for 12 continuing education contact hours.
