About the Conference

The ALS Association Clinical Conference will engage ALS/MND health care professionals and offer current information on best practices and guidelines, multidisciplinary team care and coordination, ALS-relevant programs and services, research updates, technology for therapies, respiratory devices and augmentative communication, and will provide professional networking opportunities. The conference will:

  • Provide a venue to discuss new trends, share current practices, exchange ideas and successes, and dialogue on challenges and potential solutions
  • Cultivate a network of health professionals who support the advancement of knowledge and options for disease management in the field of ALS
  • Provide educational opportunities and hands-on workshops for attendees on a variety of subjects directly related to health care professionals

Registration for the 2018 Clinical Conference is now open. Click HERE to register. Once on the registration site, navigate to the “Registration” left-hand navigation tab to begin the process.

  • Registration fee is $179
  • $179 registration fee waived for accepted presenters (maximum of two speakers per accepted abstract)
  • Fees are non-refundable
  • Space is limited. We encourage early registration
  • Registration closes on September 14, 2018

The Call for Presentations period closed on April 16, 2018. A month-long peer-review period will follow, which will inform the development of the Clinical Conference program. Please check back in mid to late-June for more information on session topics, tracks, and speakers.

This conference is being submitted for approval to several professional organizations. The ALS Association is pleased to apply for continuing education credit for the following disciplines: assistive technology professionals, registered dietitians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, social workers, and speech and language pathologists.
