New Patient Grants Made Available

Florida Chapter

Serving people living with ALS in: Florida

The ALS Association Florida Chapter is using Ice Bucket Challenge funds to increase direct dollars to patients in the form of grants for home modifications, vehicle modifications, durable medical equipment, assistive technology devices, communication equipment, respite care, and other financial needs.

The chapter is also developing programs and services to help people with ALS in new ways or serve patients not previously reached by the chapter. This includes the addition of a bilingual Regional Care Services Manager in Miami-Dade to better support and communicate with the ALS Community in South Florida.
