Clinic Hours Expanded to Allow More Appointments

Serving people living with ALS in: New Mexico

The ALS Association New Mexico Chapter is using Ice Bucket Challenge funds to support the ALS clinic at the University of New Mexico. This support has resulted in the clinic extending its hours to hold additional appointments. With more appointment slots, patients can attend the clinic more frequently. The chapter is also using the funds to establish a second clinic in the region.

Additionally, the chapter has planned an Ask the Experts event for early 2016. This event will be open to those living with ALS, their family members, and clinicians and will provide information about support available from equipment and care providers.
