Donating and Planned Giving

Donate NowHow can I help to find a cure for ALS?

General
To support the work of The ALS Association and help us end the devastating effects of ALS, you can give an unrestricted gift to The Association. Your gift will be applied where it is needed most to help provide a higher quality of life for people with ALS and their families.

Restricted
If you wish to support The ALS Association's research efforts, patient services or advocacy program you can give a restricted gift by designating the specific program. Your gift will help to continue these vital programs for ALS patients and their families.

Can I send a gift in memory of a friend or loved one?

Gift in Memory
A gift in memory of a friend or loved one is a meaningful and reflective reminder of your shared joy in life together. Through the years, many of the family and friends of The ALS Association family have experienced profound joy and satisfaction that a memorial gift to The Association can bring.

Gift in Honor
A contribution in honor of a friend or loved one is a perfect gift for any occasion…birthdays, anniversaries or graduations. Anytime you want to celebrate a special occasion or recognize someone special, consider a gift to the ALS Association.

When we receive your gift in honor or in memory, we will send an acknowledgement notification in your name to the person you designate. It is a precious remembrance and has immediate benefits for you and the ALS community of friends and family.

Community of HopeCreate or donate to a Tribute Fund:
The ALS Association's Community of Hope gives people like you the opportunity to inspire others by creating an online Fund.
You can share your ALS story with everyone you know and encourage them to make a contribution to your Fund. The money you raise goes to support The Association's crucial patient services program, leading-edge ALS research and our advocacy effort on Capitol Hill.
