The ALS Association Research Council
Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS.
Every 90 minutes another person loses their life to this disease.
There is no cure…yet.
Donors to The ALS Association’s Research Council share a common interest in finding viable treatment options and, ultimately, a cure for ALS. Research Council donors play a leadership role in the fight against ALS by designating their support to The ALS Association’s premier ALS research program.
With close to 100 studies underway in leading laboratories around the world, The ALS Association’s leading-edge research program incorporates the following vital strategies:
- Peer-review investigator-initiated scientific studies
- ALS Association-initiated research
- TREAT ALS (Translational Research Advancing Therapy for ALS)
- The Milton Safenowitz Post Doctoral Fellowship for ALS Research, Clinical Investigator, Young Investigator and Discovery Grant Awards
- Scientific workshops and symposia
You can support The ALS Association’s Research Council by making a gift to our research program and our quest to create a world without ALS.
