ALS Association Chapter Support Groups
and Free Standing Support Groups (FSSG)
The ALS Association's Free Standing Support Groups (FSSG) are affiliates of the Association. They are located in geographic areas not currently served by an ALS Association Chapter. The FSSGs are led by dedicated volunteers who give of their time to conduct the ALS support groups. Research information and educational materials are provided to the FSSGs by The ALS Association to share with the patients and family members attending the support group meetings.
