Born March 25, 1936 in Beaufort, NC. On July 28, 1954 he joined the United States Air Force where he worked in accounting and finance. While serving in the Air force he was stationed in Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Kansas, Hawaii, Okinawa, Thailand, Korea, and Alaska. In 1974 he retired as MSGT. George T. Lewis, so he could spent time more time with his family. In 2012, the first symptoms of ALS appeared and on July 23, 2013 he was diagosed. He was a fighter his entire life and fought strong and brave during his battle with ALS. On October 6, 2014 he went home to be with the Lord.
