I am an Army Nurse Corps Officer who served on active duty during Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. I'm currently in the Army Reserve. ALS has forced me to leave a cherished career in nurse anesthesia as well as the company commander position in which I selflessly served our unit and country. Without effective treatment, it will rob me of precious time with my husband and children.
