I was drafted in 1967 and sent to basic training at Fort Polk. From there to Fort Bragg and then a year in VN. I was diagnosed with ALS in 2013 and am treated at the ALS clinic at the VA in New Orleans and at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette. First affected were my legs and now my arms. Losing mobility and will probably need wheelchair soon. The ALS Association and the VA have been wonderful to me. Thanks to them
