Two tours in Viet Nam. I came home in 1968, married my wife, Donna, had our three beautiful, wonderful daughters and had a great life, with nine grandkids as a reward. Was diagnosed with ALS in Sept. of 2012. Jim's sharp decline in health, was very heartbreaking. Watching this once strong, verile man become so dependent on family for every ounce of his care, was devastating for him. He knew there was no chance for survival, and yet he worried about how his family was going to make it after he was gone. That was how he was, always worrying about someone else. He passed away June 1st, 2013.
