My Dad, Dale, proudly served in the North Dakota Air National Guard from 1972-2001. He worked on the Flightline, and later in Maintenance Control, working his way up to Master Sergeant. We lost him to ALS on Sept. 19, 2013, after a courageous 4 year battle. Through his journey with this horrible disease, he showed incredible bravery and humbleness; always thikning of others first. He was only 59 years old. Dale was an amazing father, husband, and friend. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He will forever be loved and missed.
