I was a U.S. Army draftee who served in the Central Highlands of Vietnam from March 1971 - January 1972 with the 1st battalion 22nd infantry as a radioman and light weapons infantryman. Since being diagnosed with ALS in September 2012, I live life a day at a time and take what each day gives while holding onto the hope a treatment or cure will be found.
