I proudly served 20 years in the Marines. I retired October of 2003 as a Gunnery Sergeant. I started college in 2009.I graduated on May 10 2013 and was diagnosed with ALS on May 23 2013. I started experiencing symptoms October of 2012. Rather than focusing on what I can't do I thank God for what I still can do. I am being seen at the ALS Clinic in Greenville,NC and by Dr. Bedlak at the VA in Durham. I pray to God and have a very large prayer group praying for me. I try to remain positive if for nothing else for my husband and two boys ages 12 and 15. Semper Fi!!
