I went in the USAF in 1970 and spent my first 9 years at Whiteman, MO and Minot, ND. In ‘79, I went to the Space Shuttle program at Vandenberg, CA. In ‘82, the AF sent me to the University of Missouri where I majored in Industrial Engr. After school, I returned to CA and developed new ICBMs.
After the AF, I worked for Little Debbie Snack Cakes in TN from Oct ‘90 until retiring in Sept 2011. Since we had no family in TN, we moved to Sun City, AZ.
Four months into retirement, in Jan 2012, I was diagnosed with ALS. I am blessed to have a strong faith, family nearby and a great clinic team.
