In late 2010, I began experiencing severe cramping in all 4 of my limbs as well as difficulty with otherwise normal activities such as handwriting, problems with screwing lug nuts onto bolts and sudden and severe problems with my speech. Beginning in 2011, I began receiving numerous and various testing at the Department Of Veterans Affairs at Hines Il Hospital which resulted in a diagnosis of ALS! I would be remiss if did not say how supportive, helpful and professional the care and assistance of everyone at Hines Veterans Hospital has been! My Neurologist Dr. David Kvarnberg and all others.
