Bernard .R. Bullis

Branch: Air Force
Served: 1952 - 1956
Hometown: Washington Mills, NY
Written by: Debra Lamoree , Daughter
Recipient of: National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and Honorable Discharge. Bernard was the 8th victim in our family diagnosed with FALS in Dec. 1996. In 1999, he chose the ventilator and peg tube, and battled FALS courageously for another 10 years in his own home while his beloved family cared for him and sacrificed their personal lives to keep him home.
