Dennis M. Singleton

Branch: Navy
Served: 1987 - 1990
Hometown: San Jose, CA
Written by: Jenell SINGLETON , Surviving Spouse
My Husband Dennis Singleton, served in the US Navy from 1987-1990. After he completed his term, he enlisted in the reserve for approx 2 years, while stationed @ Moffett Field CA. Dennis was a humble person with a kind heart. Unfortunately he was mis- diagnoised with his 1st onset of ALS in 2004, and as a result, did not receive the proper counseling or the only treament of RILUZOLE that is known to slow the progression of ALS for awhile. He was re- evaluated in 2008, the analysis was ALS again ! Dennis fought to the very agonizing end! He lost the battle,.. by succoming to ALS in JAN 2011
