Richard L Stolsmark

Branch: Air Force
Served: 1956 - 1960
Hometown: LaCrosse, WI
Written by: Jean Stolsmark , Wife
Richard served in the Air Force from 1956-1960. He loved his country and his service. Richard was diagnosed with ALS in March 2009 and died in August 2009. His ALS affected his frontal temporal brain, first. It then moved to his leg muscles and then affected his throat. He remained strong, and his sense of humor, ever the good patient through the end. It has been three years and he is missed more than words can express. I'm praying for more research and a cure. Never give up fighting for a cure to this dreadful disease.
