James J Lellman

Branch: Army
Served: 1972 - 1974
Hometown: Montgomery, IL
I was drafted in 1972 after graduating from University of Illinois. I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca in Arizona, where I had a desk job. The GI Bill paid for my Masters Degree in Computer Science University of Arizona. My only brother died of ALS in 1993 I was 43. My Dad died of ALS in 1994. I was 44. In December 2010, I was working as a Santa in Yorktown Mall, and a lady informed security that Santa was drunk! That was the first sign. I saw my doctor, then a neurologist. After an MRI and some other tests, I was diagnosed March 2011. I have a blog: http://alsfollies.blogspot.com/
