John served in the Air Force for two years all throughout the United States. His basic training was in Miami Beach, FL and his furthest assignment took him to Seattle, WA.
John developed ALS in 1982.
He is about to turn 88 years old and his family will travel from New Jersey to celebrate his birthday with him and his wife, Pearl.
Thank you for your service to our country, Mr. Gonella!
