Our Dad served his country for 21 years and his family in being a loving Husband & Father. But he also provided guidance and support to many other children that referred to him as "Poppa Hoffman." There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for someone. He was diagnosed with ALS in April 2011 and succumbed to it June 20, 2012. He never blamed anyone or felt sorry for himself. Even after loosing his voice he always had a twinkle in his eyes that wonderful smile and a sense of humor. He fought a courageous battle. The world is a darker place without him. We love you Dad!
