John J Muir, Col USAF Ret, was a man of faith, honor, and integrity. He served his country faithfully for 26 years, including a tour to Vietnam. John lived with ALS for less than 19 months from diagnosis. Everyone who knew him his last year of life would tell you that he handled ALS with the utmost dignity and grace. He had an outlook that was so admirable, and most of us would not have been able to deal with it the way he did. His secret was his faith in Jesus. He is walking with Him in Heaven right now!
