I went into the Air Force right out of high school. I spent 18 months in Misawa Japan in the Security Service, and then 2 years at Kelly Air Force Base on security hill. I loved serving my country and would do it all over again if I had the chance. I got diagnosed with ALS in January of 2011, but had symptoms about a year and a half before that. I have a slower progressing ALS, which has affected my hands and arms. I have been married for thirty years this month, and four great kids, and one grand child.
