My husband Henry Hank Hughes served in the Army right out of high school. He joined the Army from his hometown of Boston Ma. He was stationed in Germany and when he returned to the States, he was stationed at Ft. Ord California, where he made his home after the Army. He was throughout his life a loving person who was loved by many. He begin to fall in September of 2008, and was diagnosed with ALS in April 2009. He never let ALS take over his active life, and he lived life to the fullest. We lost him on October 18,2010. He remained hopeful for a cure. He will be Forever in Our Hearts.
