My Father, Vincent Lewis Linarez, spent 2 of the worst years in Vietnam (1968-1969) as part of the US Army. Diagnosed with ALS in 2008 and lost his battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease in 2003. My Dad survived Vietnam but couldn't survive this Horrific Disease.
