Clyde W. Higdon

Branch: Air Force
Served: 1972 - 1975
Hometown: Benson, MN
Written by: Franklin Higdon , Son
My father, Clyde, followed in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather and brother by joining the military and he served his country in the US Air Force in Mississippi. He was also an Eagle Scout. He passed in 1996 at the age of 42 after living with ALS for 3 years. ALS robbed me from my father when I was only 15. It has made me realize how unheard of ALS really is and how more research needs to be focused on finding a cure.
