Glenn E Palmer

Branch: Army
Served: 1946 - 1952
Hometown: Sioux City, IA
Written by: Cynthia Christiansen , daughter
My Dad was proud to be a Veteran! He served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and again with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a man who worked hard all of his life. Dad loved to talk and could do so with anyone. He golfed as often as he possibly could, always walking the golf course. He always enjoyed a good meal, especially dessert. He loved his family unconditionally and always stood by with a helping hand. His laugh and hugs were unforgettable! When diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2006, he faced the disease with strength and never complained.
