My wonderful husband survived with ALS from Nov. 1994 until July 2010 when the disease finally got the best of him.He was stricken at the age of 44. He fought a brave fight and I was along side him every second of everyday. I am thankful to the ALS Society of Northeast Ohio who informed us of the many benefits we could receive through the military. I, as a widow, wish to thank every current and former member of the military for their service andfor the benefits provided by the government.
