I entered the US Army with basic training in Ft. Leonard Wood and advanced training Ft. Sam Houston.I was assigned to the 24th Inf. Div. Augsburg Gr. as a medic.Left service Jan. '68 travel to Portland OR were I settled down with a family working in cartography, surveying, & construction inspection.I have 3 children who live nearby.I was diagnosed with ALS in March 2007 & am thankful for the help I've received from the Veterans Adm.& the ALS Assoc. of NW OR & WA. and especially to my caregiver and wife Georgia.
