My father was a hero to all of us. He never met a stranger. He fought in the Vietnam War and believe this is where his ALS came from, 100% without a doubt, it is. He was diagnosed in October of 2009 and passed away May of 2011. He was a fighter and fought until the very last breath of his life! This disease, I have come to hate, loathe, and wish it was something I could obliterate, because it took our hero away. My heart goes out to all of you who have ALS, who have lost due to this awful disease and those who fought and are fighting for this country! God Bless!!
