Arnold D Lundberg

Branch: Army
Served: 1943 - 1945
Hometown: Grantsburg , WI
Written by: Tammy Bongard , Daughter
My Father was very proud to serve his country in World War 2 and Korea. In 2000, my Father was diagnosed with ALS. For 8 years he was able to be at home with my Mothers help. The last 2 1/2 years were a different story. He was in and out of the hospital and nursing homes until he couldn't walk any longer. He spent the last year of his life in a nursing home, never asking for anything. He fought ALS with courage and strength. He never complained. Dad lost his battle on October 3rd 2011. We love you and will miss you always. We will never forget your courage. Love, Your Family
