Edward J Pollick

Branch: Marines
Served: 1956 - 1962
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA
Written by: Anne Pollick , Spouse
My husband, Ed Pollick served his country proudly 1956-1962 in the Marine Corps. He was officially diagnosed with ALS in May 2009 and held his own for awhile until February of 2011 when the progression started. He is not able to walk and is losing strength in his hands and speech is getting harder but God has been with us and allowed us time together. We have accepted what is happening and I am thankful that the Lord is giving us time to be together. I worked up until a month ago. My husband is very brave and will always be my hero until the Lord takes him home.
