My father served in the Korea Conflict as a medical corpsman and he's proud of his service. He was diagnosed in November 2005 with ALS and is currently fighting the battle of his life with this disease. While it is hard to understand his speech and he cannot due the things he used to he refuses to give into ALS. His favorite words these days are, "Never Give Up"
