I have had als over 20 years, i am glad to still be here, but the pain is unbearable alot of the time, i feel i am still here because i refuse to give up due to the fact i want to see my little grandkids grow up, i was in the 54th military police company, really enjoyed my time while in the service, made alot of close friends, i just wish Washington would approve all als vets for 100% disability as soon as they are diagnosed, they should not have to wait tell they are completely immobile to recieve the full dollar amount, we all need time to enjoy the life we have left.
