RICHARD E COLE

Branch: Navy
Served: 1988 - 2008
Hometown: Minden, LA
I was diagnosed with ALS in Nov. 2004. I first noticed a sudden weakness in my hand and the progression no matter how slow over the last 7 years has left me totally dependant on others for even the most basic daily tasks.I spent 20 yrs in the USN doing all the right things only to end up with ALS. Juast goes to show us that ALS has no boundries. I share with everyone I meet my story and what they can do in support of finding a cure.
